Duralex Chlorinated Rubber Road Liner Paint is solvent-borne paint designed for road marking applications on asphalt and concrete surfaces. It is known for its fast-drying time, allowing roads to reopen to traffic quickly after application. The paint provides excellent adhesion and forms a durable film that resists weather, UV rays, oil, chemicals, and abrasion. It can be applied with or without glass beads. It may be reflectorized through the addition of glass beads to the surface of the paint film in order to improve night visibility making the road safety ensured.

Drying and recoat times are temperature, humidity and film thickness dependent.
The surface must be thoroughly prepared to ensure proper adhesion and durability. This involves cleaning the area to remove all dirt, dust, grease, oil, and any loose or flaking paint. The surface should be completely dry, as moisture can interfere with drying and bonding. Any cracks or damaged spots need to be repaired and smoothed out before painting. It’s important to avoid painting over contaminants like oil stains or salts, which can reduce the paint’s effectiveness. Application should be done in dry weather, ideally when temperatures are between 10°C and 35°C, avoiding rain, fog, or high humidity. Proper surface preparation is essential for a long-lasting, high-quality road marking.
It can be applied using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment, depending on the size and type of the job. Stir the paint thoroughly to achieve uniform consistency. Apply the paint evenly at the recommended wet film thickness to achieve the desired DFT. For best results, avoid applying in extreme temperatures.
If reflectivity is needed, sprinkle glass beads onto the wet paint immediately after application. Allow the paint to dry fully before opening the area to traffic, which typically takes 1–3 hours depending on conditions. Multiple coats can be applied if greater durability or opacity is required, ensuring each coat dries before the next application. Proper application ensures long-lasting, visible, and durable road markings.
